Moorhen on the nest, though there was a baby walking about so that's about 3 weeks old, so not sure if it's a different Mother or the same with another brood on the way!.

They even climb trees.
Look at the size of that egg, its abandoned by the swans.
They seem to have moved into the trees at the side of the lake and the path has been fenced off to give them some privacy.
Looks a real love nest hey!.
Round the park there was plenty of other birds
A Dunnock.
A chaffinch.
Then on the small lake spotted these baby Coots!.

Dad's helping out too.
Meanwhile back home, did a bit more on the boat, ie masking and spraying again.
Made a use of some of the loads of pamphlets than get pushed though our doors daily!

Then,with the masking removed, shows the nice Red contrast, bright but Canal boats are aren't they!.
Son John has made a track cleaner for his garden railway and he has just painted his model Green!,
Mate Bob's boat, Green as well, this is his lettering just done and sent by email.
