Month end again!, where does the time go. 29.6.22.

Its the end of the month again, but They ( Who are They) say time flies when you get older!.

Been to Pear Mill Café a couple of times again this week and Tuesday only saw one of the baby peregrines, but on Saturday saw three of the four!.

Then noticed that one of them had a meal, and before you know it they were squabbling over it

You are going to share it aren't you

One didn't want to get involved, perhaps hoping something would fall down.

Was hoping it wasn't the fourth one they were eating, then noticed there was a pink claw and the baby peregrines are Yellow!.

Pigeon again for dinner, think I'll give it a miss!.

Young swan at Debdale is doing well, but keeping close to parents.

Three baby Great Crested Grebes doing well too.

Young Coot eating it's greens.

Whilst having our dinner on the car park opposite the sailing club, noticed there was a family of sparrows nesting in the end of the roof at the sailing club, must have youngsters in there as they are back too and froe all the time.

Birds pick the most unusual places don't they.

Been a bit cooler the last couple of days, thank goodness, Pepe suffers in the heat with his thick coat
As you can see been it's a bit overcast, but doesn't stop the sailors and right in the distance on the right are kids on those boards one stands up with a big paddle, they seem to be taking a rest there though.

Back home we have another brood of Goldfinches, this one doing the Feed me, Feed me, flapping.

Been for my two yearly hearing test to day, quite easy with it being at SpecSavers in Sainsburys, Denton, so free parking and called in a minute before my appointment time!.

Left ear has deteriorated slightly so that aid was tweeted up, but that's all that needed doing.

The lady did have a look at the number two program, that's for when one is in a crowded place and it cuts out the background clutter and one only hears the people at your table, but won't be able to test that out yet as my two regular friends are not at Pear mill this week.

Took some Jigsaws to the charity shop yesterday and didn't see much to buy but the nice lady took me into her back room (Your jumping ahead of me now aren't you) it was to show me the puzzles stored there that couldn't fit on the shelves in the main shop. That was kind of her wasn't it, I must be a privileged customer now!.

While there spotted this nice tea pot and bought it for Pear mill Café  as they collect them, the last of the big spenders cost all of £2, but I know they haven't got one like this.

Too hot for us this past week, 20-22.6.22.

Been too hot for us this past week, Pepe even had a drink outside which he normally won't do!.

We even went to Pear Mill Cafe, on Monday and Tuesday this week as it was too hot to walk Pepe round the park.

Try feeling the path your walking on, if its hot to you, think how hot it will be to your poor dogs pads.

Only saw one of the baby peregrines on Monday, the others must have been flying about.

My Mate had joined us the previous week and we arranged to go to the cinema to see the new Top Gun movie, on the Friday, we both enjoyed it, you have to see it on the big screen!.

Pepe getting jealous there.

In the park this week there were plenty of young Great Tits.

Young Blue Tit.

The Lower Reservoir, looks very inviting, but deadly for swimmers, very cold low down, so one cramps up, even good swimmers.

Young Coot learning to preen.

The one surviving Cygnet is doing well, only thing is as soon as it is too big, the parents will chase it off!.

Keeping close to mum.

The Magpies love our monkey nuts.

Two in this ones beak.

The squirrels like monkey nuts too.

Plenty of young Robins about at the moment, did you know they don't get their red breasts until after their first moult.

This Clematis I bought last year has gone mad this year, must be all the sun we are having, plus I am giving it plenty of water.

This afternoon I counted 54 flowers on it, thought it was dear at the time, but its been worth it.

Well, in the early hours of this morning I became a Great Grandad for the fourth time, Never felt a thing!, bet the granddaughter did though.
And can you believe it, it was another of the Great Grand child's birthdays today as well, can't get better timing than that!.

The trouble with doing nothing is you never know when your finished!.

More babies, 14.6.22.

The Hay fever is very high here at the moment, so it was a toss up if we went out or stayed in, but Pepe was getting very restless, so it was off to McDonalds drive thru for lunch.

The seating inside is always full of mums and kids that the news is always telling us, its a case of Eating or Heating, plus its bad parking in their area as that's full of Deliveroo and Uber drivers waiting for orders.

So it's the safe option for us round the Drive thu, the staff know us by now and we are usually asked by any new staff if the box on the passenger seat is a cat or a dog, much to Pepe's disgust I imagine!.

In the Debdale Nature Centre in the park, most things are in full bloom.

Loads of Baby Great Tits about.

What's for dinner mum.

Feed me!!!

Get this down you.

The usual Robins.

Enjoying the food we put out.

A juvenile Blue Tit.

My favourite picture this week is the young Peregrines at Pear Mill.
Getting the hang of the new camera now.

So I was glad we took the decision to go out, even though I suffered when we got home with sneezing, itchy eyes and running nose, Pepe was sneezing too but I think he was just taking the micky, which he does now and then.
