Welcome to my new Blog

Welcome to my Blog.
My Blog is mostly about my hobbies, ie Model boats,Cross Stitch, Gardening, Days out and about and Photography with pictures taken at and around our Model Boat club at Etherow Country Park, where I can be found quite a few days a week on the landing stage, you might recognize the hat and the dog rather than me. My models and other hobbies can be found in the tabs at the top above the header picture.
There will also be entries of days out with my long haired Chihuahua "Pepe", weather permitting of course.

On the Cafe balcony on Saturday was a meeting of Husky owners,

I was told this last one is a Malamute, a slightly different type, and a bit more laid back, on the internet it is claimed that they can pull .5 to 1.5 tons depending on their size, Wow!.
...............................................

Pepe could just about pull the skin off a rice pudding>

Spotted this in the undergrowth, is it a Water vole or a small rat?, very similar but it's all in the ears I believe, still I snapped it and saw it in fact!!, these Plastic lens in my eyes are quite good hey.

This little Robin even sat on my boot, as I was having a drink at the cafe, very tame wasn't bothered about Pepe sat there as well.

That's it again!,

Have you hear of the garlic diet?.
You don't lose much weight but from a distance your friends think you look thinner!.

When James Bond slept though an earthquake, he was shaken but not stirred!.

    1. Yes saw it, nothing like that near us I'm sorry to say!.
Remember seeing water vole at Dovestones when we were all camping together years ago, swimming in the river keeping pace with us.
Had the Yorkie then, that attacked the big black dog.
