It was off early to Oldham today to get Pepe washed, cut  and beautified, 

Lovely job by Kate Schofield of Mucky Pups!.

Whilst he was being done I was off back to the Lees Village teashop for a nice cooked breakfast and a rummage round the charity shops there.

Bargains of the day were these two hardback books at 50p each

And this retractable Dog lead at £1!

After picking the lad up we were off to Dovestones and after another drink at the Buttie wagon we were off to Velda's tree!.

As you can see the scenery at Dovestones is great, Daughter-in -law Joanne was lucky enough to be brought up in this area!.

After another drink back at the Buttie wagon, where the nice lady always gives Pepe a doggie bag of Sausage and Burger bits, it's not just him though she gives John's Cockapoos some too when they go!. 

Called at the fish shop on the way home, situated in the Garden centre at the Snipe retail park, bought a few more Golden Angels and thought I'd better get another filter refill.

You used to get a refill with the plastic container included, I've got loads for them and I can understand when the guy said "they don't give you the plastic part now", But I can't understand the fact that the price is still the same!, is it me, as I thought it would be a bit cheaper with the biggest part now not included.

A bit like Mars bars " we have made them smaller instead of putting the price up", I bought one the other day and couldn't decide if it was a Bite size one or the regular size!.

Enough whining hey, it was a nice day and that's all that matters really isn't it!.
