Started to cover the rear deck with the planked piece in the kit 

Then realised I had some Chequer plate plasticard in stock and thought it would be more in keeping with a steel narrow boat.

Then thought what the hell why don't I chequer plate the bow section of deck as well.





I'd bought some Mirror screws the other day and decided to attach them to the roof as vents whilst waiting for glue to set again.

There we are

Workman left his tools!.


The roof hatch I'd decided to make a working version was a bit tricky but all finished.


A gas bottle locker added to the bow section as well.


After vacing everywhere with my trusty vac, every modeller should have one in their workshop to keep the better half happy!.

Coated everything with a sanding sealer 

A couple of fairy lights inside to see what it would look like lit up!.
