Not been a bad Christmas for me and Pepe, other than two of our friends had to be taken into hospital!, still these things happen, unfortunately they always seem to be over a Bank Holiday don't they!.

Jo was left to entertain those of us left, we all had a good time, but there is always the absent ones in the back of your mind hey.

Which ended up back home round the neck of one of my ornaments.

The lake has been very busy over the holidays, with all the children showing off their new toys and gadgets. We always found our Son played with the previous years toys more than he did during the year!, before he gave them to a deserving cause!.

Me and my big mouth, I'd said on the Club blog that the previous few years we hadn't had to break the ice at our Frostbite sail and wouldn't you know it the lake was frozen over the next day!.

I went to Argos the other day and bought a Bean Bag, when the guy brought it out from the back I thought ' The Blob' had got him, it was HUGH, that's the trouble buying before you see the item isn't it!.

I had trouble getting it into the car, fighting it all the way in, when I got home it was bigger than Pepe's armchair and I'd only wanted to sit on it for Pepe's mad half hour in the evenings.

Then I had a fall of Soot!, remembered John's dog 'Max' on Instagram struggling to sleep on his bean bag.

So an e-mail to John and we had a new for old swap!

 .

And there is Max looking quite small though he is quite a big boy

Pepe is now happy with 'The Blob' gone as am I

In fact everyone happy with the outcome.

My birthday today.

Lady at the lake bought me a birthday cake and some bright soul said why don't you put candles on it!, must have been to see the latest film 'Inferno'!.

I even got dressed up today for the lake, I like to shock people now and then to make sure they are still with us!. 

Friend, Bob sent me this comment, very witty guy, but I don't mind as he and his good lady are great friends.

For those dog lovers amongst you here is an updated picture of 'Belle' the Cavion, Johns neighbours puppy mentioned in an earlier post.

As said earlier, everything seems to happen on a Bank Holiday. The keyboard here just packed up half way though, Oh no!.

Then realised this is a Wireless one so how does it work?, of course batteries, had some spares in so everything OK again.
