Today's outing and Amelia Rose build continued.

Good day out at the lake today, after the rest of the week was so miserable!, been busy though so not too bad. 

Pepe's check up and yearly booster at the Vets on Tuesday then he was at the Dog Groomers for his regular wash and trim, its all been a bit too much for the little fellow!.

Still he was ready and waiting for me putting my boots on this morning and we had a nice walk round the big lake, after we had helped put the world to rights at the Cafe!.

Then it was a visit to my favourite watering hole "The Windmill" at Denton on the way home, got to get Pepe a doggy bag, that's my excuse anyway!.

Continuing with the build report on the Amelia Rose, I'd set up the rudder and added a few bars at the side of the support as it seemed a bit vulnerable stuck there on its own.

 

Then added a bit of filler to smarten it up.

Added a bit of plastic tube to the roof vents.

Just making sure the bitz & bobz fit before we go any further.

Gave the hull a coat of undercoat last week when the weather was a bit warmer 

Then today, as it looked so nice I decided to mask up the bottom of the hull again and spray its black bottom, trouble was its in the garage and too cold to be painting really.

Not a good idea really, the paint that's supposed to be touch dry in 20 mins might be dry for my next post!!, still looking good, can't see the joints so my woodworking skills not too bad!.

Can't paint in the house as Pepe and my Golden Angels might suffer the fumes, not to mention myself

Where's the joke for today I hear you asking?.

Whilst waiting for Pepe to be washed and trimmed, sat in the local Cafe having a drink and a bun, noticed this on the wall, one for the lady readers!.

Got this one off my Sister and her hubbie in OZ, why don't we have stools like this in our Cafe's?.
