3th,June,21.

Didn't do too well in May only 4 posts, as teacher used to say needs to do better!.
We have been out and about though and since the weather has improved quite a bit its a lot better and photography is better too.
View across the lower reservoir (Debdale) with the hills in the distance, The Pennines (the backbone of England).

Plenty of Canadian Geese Goslings about at the moment and as you can see here these not much bigger than pigeons!.

The crèche, that Canadians do to keep their babies safe.

Pepe's brought Seed!

Soon get used to people feeding them, the only problem is it's the wrong thing, Bread!

Cute hey, no wonder children like to feed them.

A baby Coot, look at the size of it's feet.

Love them or hate them, pigeons are still cute and this one enjoying the sunshine on the cobbles down to the water

We were at Pear Mill Cafe again today, the usual beautiful table displays on every table.

My friend David was in attendance with his daughters Cockerpoo Daisy.

One of the adult Peregrine Falcons.

Over looking its babies, not my picture!, the guy who tagged them took it and published it on the Mill website.

This is mine from today, but there again I was on the ground and the baby must be about 80 feet up!.
By the look of this one, getting it's feathers and won't be long before it fledges!.

Been to Ashton Moss nature reserve again this week and saw plenty of these Jackdaws, members of the crow family as you can see, very acrobatic.

Dunnock (Hedge Sparrow), seem to like being on the ground more that the tree sparrows.

Great Tit.

Back home we discovered we had got Baby Goldfinches again, that's the third year running we have had them.

One of the parents.

And here are the babies, doing what babies do by flapping their wings to be fed!. as you can see they don't have their red faces yet, until their first moult!

Whilst at my friends Bob and Joyce's garden this week as well, there was this cute little baby Robin only a few feet away on the feeders.
Again they are another baby that doesn't get their red on their breast until they get older.

So there you have it, up to date and hopefully will do better in June!

What can a goose do, a duck can't and a lawyer should,
Stick his bill up his rear"!.

I've found the secret of eternal youth,
I lie about my age!.

The trouble with doing nothing,
you never know when your finished.

There's no excuse for laziness,
but I'm working on it!.
