This weekend saw us at Reddish Vale on Sunday and was pleased to see that the Male Swan that was attacked by a dog (that three idiots had made happen) was doing well and looked alright!.
But as the lady in the Stockport Recorder said it's faith in humans had disappeared and will attack anyone going near now.
Flowers in bloom at the lake, don't ask me what they are, not a clue unless I buy them from the garden centre with the name attached!.
All very nice and colourful though aren't they.
It was a nice surprise to see that the Great Crested Grebes has another baby and they were all in the middle of the lake, just out of range of the camera as usual!.

At Etherow today there was plenty of wildlife but one unwelcome resident was this
Terror-Pin sat on a Coots nest so no wonder there isn't many baby coots about with this one probably eating all the eggs!.
Big as a soup bowl!.
Friends have seen a Mandarin in this nest, high up in the branches of this tree well out of the reach of most predators
The Muscovy's are doing well and have seemed to have weathered the winter alright!.

Fred bought a puppy at the pet shop going cheap!.
