Nice and sunny at the lake today, what else, not a spot of rain since the water butt went in!!.
Still it was nice and sunny so you can't have everything can you, It could rain a bit after dark though hey!.
It was quite breezy away from the Cafe but had heard on the grapevine that there were terrapins back in the park, so after a spot of lunch went in search of them and there they were sunning themselves on the canal side near to the Muscovy Ducks, in fact when I went round the first bridge and came back nearer to them the Muscovy's were investigating them and I just managed to snap them before they took off.
There are said to be more, but not in evidence today, perhaps on a quieter day I might have more luck.
I was shown an article in the Stockport Recorder on Wednesday about three guys that got their large white dog to attack the Swans at Reddish Vale and the male one was bitten on its side but is still alive.
What kind of fun is that, and what type of idiots get pleasure from doing things like that, what is the world coming too.
Look at the size of this little white duck and its great big mate in the background!, they've been together for a few years now!.

Some items for John booking a room in a hotel today.
The hotel was so exclusive the room service had an unlisted number.
The hotel was filthy, but they changed the sheets every day, but only from one room to the next!
The room was so small when he put the key in the lock he broke the window!.
Te bathroom was so small you couldn't brush your teeth sideways.
It was so damp that there was a goldfish in the mousetrap.
