Easter weekend 2015.
This easter weekend we went to the Bugsworth show on the Saturday.
It had been raining hard the day and night before, so the ground was a bit muddy to say the least, so I had to carry Pepe round all day or he would have been up to his undercarriage in liquid mud, not a nice thought.
Easter Sunday we had a nice Sunday roast at the Stable Gate!.
Monday saw us at the lake again and taking a few more wildlife pictures,
The badgers have been active again and look at what they have kicked out of their sett
How long have these bits of pottery been down there?.
Here is my namesake, "Duckie"
White goose
Nice friendly Jack Russell a couple friends of mine rescued from the Dog Trust based in Denton behind Sainsburys
Goosey Goosey Gander
I do love Mandarins.
There again here is one of my favourite bird's, the Great Crested Grebe,
First time I saw these beautiful birds was at the Gravel Pits in Beeston, Nottingham where my sister was living at the time.
A couple of them were doing their mating dance and the picture has stayed in my memory since and started my love of bird watching. Thanks to you Babs and Bryan!.
Talk about "Twos company, Threes a crowd"!.
All the birds are starting to build their nests and settling in now.
So back to the Cafe for a drink and a Teacake!.
Lady with a posh camera took this one of Pepe and sent it to me, thank you for this Karen.
If you go to the lake this month , bare this in mind!.
