Yesterday did a bit more veneering on the ends and inner struts for the superstructure
Then whilst this was drying, took Pepe over to Debdale park
Then it was back to the Narra Boat !
Added the strips to the sides and if you are thinking that they don't look equal top and bottom, they will when the roof goes on and adds that other 3mm above the windows.
Going to try and fit the roof on, so that its removable and you will be able to see the interior fixtures and fittings , we shall see if its doable, just getting the catches fitted so it will look right hey.
Off now to veneer the inside of roof panel, then decide whether to discard the wooden floor panel or to go to a plasticard one to build the furniture onto easier!.
Watched "Narrow Boat" on Quest in the afternoon and there was Alan Herd the presenter having a go at making the rear fender for his boat , will have to have a go at that, even though my mate Bob has bought me a
"Bag of bumpers" from Ellesmere show.
Club Night to-night, is booked as an Air boat talk , but may be the film show cancelled last time through ill health.
