Weekend, 12th- 15th.4.2024.

 Must tell you that I started this post on Monday evening (12th), just got the title in and there was a flash of lightening and thunder and my Modem was fried!. After an hour on to the engineer at TalkTalk they decided what I had thought and sent me a new modem which arrived this morning Wednesday about 10- 30 which isn't bad is it!.

All setup again now with all the other items setup, ie Printer.

So on to the post, had a nice visit to Reddish Vale on Friday, first time for a while as the road had been close while they added lighting down to the farm, houses and info centre.

For those of you that were interested in the Heart-murals I've been on about at Debdale Park, this is another one of his!. 

The Terrapins were out on the lower mill pond.

It's a shame that most Chaffinches seem to suffer with bumblefoot, That Scaly  stuff on their feet.

Coots seem to be nesting everywhere.

Our national bird and rightly so!.

Saturday it was the Bridge View Café , always a nice welcome there.

Sunday went to Son's for dinner, whilst there walked round to my youngest granddaughters new house to have a first look, and surprised it needs so much DIY doing, there again they have done it all before on the house they sold.

When I got home it was out with the Picture light I'd bought in the week from Amazon and mentioned in the previous post.

What's in the box!, the light, two brackets and all the screws and raw plugs plus two sticky pads and a controller.

Fitted in my work room, has you can see the light tilts so it doesn't shine in your eyes

So after fitting it in my work room, and finding there was two brackets, decided to put the second bracket over the picture in my bedroom that my good friend Bob the Painter gave me a while back.

So at night it looks like this, and as it has a timer on the controller, I can light it up and set the timer!.

So it's there until I need it for Jig sawing in the evening.

Monday I went to The Windmill for lunch, 

 Looks nice, but still raining but at least the rain is getting a bit warmer!

 So after a bit of a worrying time reconnecting all the items to the new Modem now back to normal thank goodness!, wasn't sure they had it right about being the modem at fault, all's well that ends well hey.
