First few days into October have been quite well really, with a trip to Pear Mill Emporium and their Cafe on both days as the weather didn't start off very well, though on Thursday the 1st it did brighten up later.
So it was stop off at home to change shoes and visit the toilet then over to the reservoirs where we saw quite a bit of wildlife even though some of it you wouldn't want too near your home!.
These rats were foraging in and out of the stone slabs at the edge of the water.
Quite cute really aren't they, you can understand children wanting them as pets.
As there weren't too many people about this Great Crested Grebe was taking a nap quite close in to the bank but still with one eye open.
Swan having a bath.
Look at the size of this Coots feet!.
This tree in the park orchard is getting some nice colour now.
Pepe at his favourite place today waiting for his treat of sliced boiled ham and sausage.
The staff always give everyone a nice welcome and always have nice table arrangements.
You can see some of the many stalls in the background.
A great place to explore on a cold miserable day and you never know you might pick up a bargain or something that reminds you of your childhood!.

A man is given a pigs ear during a transplant operation.
A month later he is back for a check up and the doctor said "Is everything alright"
"Yes" said the patient " though I do get a bit of Crackling"
