Plenty of action this week at Debdale Park, the weather still quite cold but it was worth the effort to go.
Found someone had put up some feeders in the Orchard and that they were being well attended, so popped over to Home Bargains and bought another couple of feeders plus one from home, then next day armed with them plus some peanuts sat on the plastic bag I always carry in my pocket was rewarded with a couple of Jay's and numerus other birds, had a good day sat in the sunshine.
Some of the Jays I saw.
The little guys had their share too, this Great Tit doesn't look too Great against the others does it!.
There again these Long tailed Tits are smaller still.
Makes one wonder how these little things survive the bitter cold weather.
Cute little Blue Tits enjoying the fat balls.
No shortage of Robins.
Greedy guts with a large piece of fat ball.
On the Gorton Lower Reservoir there are a pair of great Crested Grebes
Think this is the resident Male.
Plenty of spring flowers about at the moment too.
