Visit to Daisy Nook Country Park,2017.

Tuesday, Pepe and I had another visit to Daisy Nook Country Park and after a nice Sausage and Bacon bap in the Cafe, nice, warm and dry!.
Then it was off on a walk round the park, didn't see the Teal Duck we had seen on a previous visit, perhaps it was just passing though and stopped for a snack and a rest.
In the Cafe saw this history of the park back in the mists of time.

On our walk, with Pepe up to his arm pits in mud, we saw this high rise bug house, a huge old log but luxury for the bugs!, Hilton Bugsville.

Do you think I suit a moustache, say's this crow?.

I'm going for the healthy option!, bread's not good for me

Looks tasty though, says this Great Tit!.

This lot behind us aren't ours are they Gladys?.

No they are only tagging along waiting for us to drag up some weeds from the bottom with our long necks.

They are Chinese Swan Geese, they come in Brown and White varieties.

They have a big lump on the front of their heads, you wouldn't want a Glasgow kiss from one of them would you, nicely marked though aren't they.

Only one cormorant here on the day, think they are all at Reddish Vale!.

Today Wednesday
After a visit to the Vets for one of Pepe's worming and flea tablets, met Peter & Mary our friends with Sasha their dog at Reddish Vale and had a nice walk round the butterfly field which has been cut back ready for next years growth.
Then back to the visitors Centre for drinks for us and biscuits for the hounds!, they always know where the treats are don't they!.

Great Tit.

The Robins were out and about today.

Then it was off to The Windmill at Denton to met friend Jean and have a nice carvery and a slurp
So a nice day was had by all
