Daisy Nook on Wednesday (8th) saw Pepe and I at the Cafe to met our friend David who we had arranged to met, as he was bringing his Daughters new puppy a Pug!.
Geoff as he is is called turned out to be a beautiful little thing at 12 weeks old, just having finished his set of Jabs!.
My Pepe wasn't too keen at first as he isn't too keen on over excited puppies, but he soon got used to it, more interested on the sausages there on the table!.
Introducing Geoff to Button the Bichon Frise who is a very friendly dog anyway.
Then it was over to a giant of a dog, a regular with his owner, but after a few sniffs all was well.
Then as luck would have it the couple who run the "Manchester Pug Thing" Club arrived and had their 5 Pugs with them!
Well to be completely accurate the one nearest the camera here is a Puggle, which is a cross between a Pug and a Beagle, seems the fashion these days for crossing all types of breeds.
The first cross of a Labrador and Poodle (A Labradoodle) was first done as a lady in Australia wanted a guide dog but her husband was violently allergic to dog hair and the labradoodle was created!
Geoff there looking a bit overwhelmed but soon realised that there was no danger and wanted to play.
Anyone interested in Pugs?, here is the information from the couple there on the day.
No doubt Geoff and his daycare Grandad will be a regular visitor to the Most dog friendly Cafe in our area. The dogs shown in this post were only a few of the dogs on the day.
If only other cafes realised, there is no mess, food or crumbs on the floor as there are with all the children off school at the moment.
Down at Sammy's Basin the wasps/ bees? were having a ball on the water lilies.
Well that's it for today folks.
