Last of October 2026.

 Well, nearly another month ended!.

The past week me and the gang have been to the new refurbished Windmill pub in Denton, we had our usual carvery and very nice too!.

Just in case you've not been or not been since the refurbishment here are the pictures I took on our visit.

The carvery counter hasn't changed much, but not much can be done to that is there

  So that's it, The only thing not changed is the awful music, there again 's for the younger end probably.

But looking round when we go, it's people that are older and perhaps they should change the piped music for dinnertime and evening!.

Yesterday, I went to the Bridge view café under Portland basin museum and as it was the Steampunk day there I was there on my own has the others in my group are not keen on it also it is very busy with all the punkers!.

The staff are all very nice!.

Invited these ladies to share my table as it was getting a bit full, they  were from Northwich I found out.

They even have their own band and singers!.

My friend is always telling me "You should ask before you take peoples photo" but these people were standing at my table if I hadn't taken their picture, there again if you dress up like them they want to be noticed don't they!.

This week I've finished another wooden jigsaw, this one was a bit more colourful, the one at the bottom.

Well this morning I got up and after making my breakfast wondered why my heating hadn't come on?, then realised my usual tv programme wasn't on either then it dawned on me I'd not changed the clocks last night, What a Plonker!!.
