This week 18th-23rd March 2023.

Friends away, coaching again this week, so I gave Pear Mill Café a miss on Monday and met my youngest Granddaughter and we bought a car seat for my new Great Grand Son George, then we had a McDonald's at the Snipe, made a nice change!.

On the Tuesday I went down to Reddish Vale Park and the first thing I saw whilst loading the food bag from the boot was this Roland Rat, suppose you get them with all the food about for the birds!.

On Sunnyside pond there was this Mandarin duck out of the water feasting on the seed left by someone.

Three for the price of one!.

Plenty of them on the water.

M' lady

Mandarins in the tree's, they nest in hollow trees.

White stripe on the back of the head tells you its a Coal Tit.

Got one!.

Robin got one too.

Blue Tits.

Great Tit.
Then it was off to Morrisons for fish and chips and a hot drink to warm up!.

Finished this Jigsaw at the night time.

Wednesday went with my next door neighbour to the Windmill pub for a carvery, always a pleasure going there for me.
Then it was home and another build of the Owl again for my collection as I'd given the other one away!, they are a challenge being so much into a such a small space.

Today (Thursday) had a McDonalds and then a walk onto the ressers where there was a group of pigeons having a bath.

I thought it was quite warm, there again it could have been my Camo coat doing its job keeping me warm, as you can see the snow that was on the Pennines last week has gone!.

The great Crested Grebes still getting it on!.
I'm shy.

An afternoon nap.

Junior was practicing his aggressive pose, no sight of its parents perhaps they are away nesting.

The colours of pigeons.

Canadian Goose.

The sailing club have a meeting of old folks every Friday, it was free at first, then went to £3 and this week they seem to have jumped onto the band wagon and its up to £3.30 still people will still go or vote with their feet and walk away won't they.
Suppose the organisers costs have gone up too.

Finished another jigsaw this afternoon, nice one if you like cats, which I do!.

Tonight's tea Bob was a baked potato with Beans!.

So tomorrow I will start another wooden kit, what will it be you might ask, you will have to wait and see!.
.....................................................
I love cats, they taste just like chicken!.

Cats took many thousands of years to domesticate humans.

Cars are almost foolproof as long as the fool behind the wheel stays awake.
