This weekend we had our usual visit to Reddish Vale Country Park and were not disappointed with the amount of wildlife there.
One of our favourite spots is Sunnyside pond, this view of the seating area taken for the centre seat where the sun is on our right instead of directly in our face.
Centre seat shows the changing colours coming now.
On the pond there are these wildfowl.
Little Grebe.
Mallard.
Not sure what this beautifully marked one is though, will have to look into that.
Whilst there we were feeding the squirrels by hand and I couldn't believe how strong they are, I couldn't hold on to this nut, as you can see its straining to get it off me!
Cute little things, but I thought they were going to follow me home, that's all you need, a couple of these in your loft chewing your wiring!.
Meanwhile on the lower mill pond, plenty of tufted ducks
Same one taken from the other side of the pond, quite colourful underneath aren't they.

Two guys at a funeral, one said to the other "Do you know if he left is wife much"
"Yes" said the other "Almost every night".
Where there's a will, I want to be in it!.
The man who wrote the song "The Hokey Cokey" was buried yesterday, but they had a lot of trouble keeping his body in the casket,
They'd put his left leg in......
