Wednesday at Daisy Nook, 10.10 2018.

Had a nice sunny day at Daisy Nook on Wednesday we went up to the castled wall on the way to Crime Lake and after seeding the wall there brought out these birds.

Nuthatch's we haven't see for a while.

Some one had a different idea for a commemorative bench, very nice and practical, still with the canal theme.

Tuesday down the vale, 9.10.2018.

Tuesday turned out nice again with sun and a slight breeze.

As you can see from the picture taken from the Info centre, the colours in the trees very nice.

The flag not blowing much.

Some people been asking me on the Reddish Vale website where I took the picture of the Parakeet, well it was in the big tree on the left there.

Plenty of Cormorants about on the day.

Even the Chinese Swan goose was having a nap.

Enough of the posing, got to get back to the fishing because I don't eat your boring seed only live fish, frogs or crustaceans for me!.

This Plane came over at about 22,000 feet I think they fly at, just thought I would check out the zoom on my camera as I was thinking of buying the new up graded Nikon P1000, but the one I've got now seems to do everything I want, would you want anything better than this.

The atmosphere will still get the better of the bigger zoom wouldn't it!.

Sunday down the Vale. 7.10.2018.

Nice sunny day down the Vale today!.

plenty of  wildlife and people about.

The trees are changing colour and shedding their leaves quite rapidly now, its nice to see the different seasons even if its getting quite cool now. 

Plenty of cormorants about today on the water, sunning themselves and some even courting.

The picture of the Day this Ring Necked Parakeet in the tree near the steel gate to Windmill Lane.

Might be more in the greenery but hard to see amongst the leaves, a few more days will show them up.

So all in all a good day and to cap it off got an X Box One S and with the bundle it came with the new Tomb Raider game for the same price!, then when I paid for it the lady at the till said there's a free game worth £40.99 with it if you want it, need you ask if I wanted it!
