1 October 2017.

First of October already where has this year gone, flushed down the drain with all this wet weather we've been having prob-abelly.
The water butts I bought after having the Water meter fitted turned out to be a waste of money, that much rain haven't had to use them!.
This Sunday with Son John at Church all day the usual Sunday dinner was off, still not to worry went on the usual  Sunday visit to Reddish Vale and got a few pictures, there were a lot of cormorants about and discovered that there are a various colours on them at the moment.

Looked on my phone Appt to see if there is any reason for this but nothing mentioned, perhaps mate Bob will know!.

When you have an itch that you can't quite reach!

The Great Created Grebe babies are still staying close to mother.

Just starting to get a few tufts on their head like mother now.

Dripping off after a dive.

Wonder if there are any fish left after these guy's, still they would soon disappear if there weren't wouldn't they.

This isn't Etherow!

Then it was off up to Glossop for dinner at Pico's, been before as you will have noticed if you follow this blog.
Yes!, it's me without the hat, still got the dog though, recognized for him as much as the Hat!.

Food still good, though with the flat ceilings and solid flooring it makes it quite noisy at weekend, still its very enjoyable, its perhaps my hearing aids that make it noisy!.

Looking down from the toilets

This is a nice idea.

Even the toilets have retro stuff in them!.

On the way there noticed a Barnardo's Charity shop and had a quick pop in, where I got the bargain of the week!.
These Recordable DVD blanks for only £2.99 for 50!, just the job for my garden ornaments!.

This book for £1.99 and a Lee Child 'Reacher' novel for £1.00, so was worth the quick turn round

....................................................
The Garden Centre Cafe menu has been updated, more choice!, still the same prices, why would you go anywhere else!

......................................................................................

Went for my Flu jab today.
Said they would send for me for the shingles jab.
Asked when they were doing Dry Rot Jabs!.

The good news about being middle-aged is that the glass is still half full,
The bad news is that pretty soon your teeth will be in it!.
